Award winning hair designer Heather Speight is coming back to her roots! Born in Raleigh and raised in Apex, NC Heather is a passionate and devoted hairstylist.
Award winning hair designer Heather Speight is coming back to her roots! Born in Raleigh and raised in Apex, NC Heather is a passionate and devoted hairstylist leaving each client with a salon experience that is personalized and tailored to each individual who sits in her chair.
After graduating from North Carolina State University in 2001, Heather graduated from cosmetology school in Wilmington, NC. After winning several competitions, including first place in the Buddy Walton international competition in NYC, Heather began working as a color protégé for Celebrity Hair stylist Steven Ward. She quickly obtained the skills he had crafted from his training with various international colorists, as well as his freelance experience in NYC. Heather acquired master skills from some of the industry's leading color companies such as Redken, Wella, and Goldwell, and has participated in private seminars with Beth Minardi and Bumble and Bumble in NYC. Most recently Heather lived in Boone, NC where she worked as a master stylist at Haircut 101, a Bumble and Bumble salon. She is excited about beginning a new chapter at Big Hair salon in Apex, NC.
