Since then her trust has made over two billion dollars, without one red penney to this historic plantation that is now owned by the tri-racial Livseys. They are Black, White and Native Indian. This award is meant to be offered to people of every color and walk of life, who chooses to make a difference in the lives of others.

Leadership in your local community and the passion to be the voice of those without the ability to be heard, are the top two characteristics, in order to be added to the 2011 group of The Promised Land Difference Makers.
