Are you suffering from Bronchial Pneumonia?

March 8, 2011

Bronchial pneumonia is a state in which the bronchial tubes turn out to be swollen due to infection. The symptom of this disease is similar to those of pneumonia.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) March 8, 2011 -- The primary thing to be aware of bronchial pneumonia is that it is not caused by a single disease. Pneumonia could be considered as a symptom for this. People already suffering from asthma, having compromised respiratory systems may be more vulnerable to this illness.

At this point it's essential to say that if you believe you have bronchial pneumonia, an emergency visit to your local physician is a must. Bronchial pneumonia is a type of pneumonia affecting the lungs in patches around the bronchi or bronchioles tubes. To make matters worse, pneumonia can be caused by either a bacterial or viral infection in the lungs. This clearly states that pneumonia results due to infection in the lungs which claims 40,000 to 60,000 people annually.
Bronchial pneumonia can spread to numerous patches in one or both lungs. It's a severe illness that seems to impact children, babies and senior adults more. It can be caused by a number of bacteria causing streptococcus pneumonia as well.
There are several symptoms of Bronchial Pneumonia which are similar to pneumonia symptoms:
• Shortness of breath
• Chest pains and difficulty in breathing (Dyspnea)
• Shallow or rapid breathing
• Coughing up mucus
• Fingernails. They have a blue tent (Cyanosis)
• Yellow-green phlegm (Mucous)

In some cases, there may also be normal pain in a fever, which would obviously bring on extra symptoms of sweating and headaches. Be aware about the symptoms and severity that may vary with age, physical condition and general health of the person. These factors hardly matter in case of an asthmatic person as any bronchial illness should be taken much more acutely in those with asthma.
As mentioned above, there are many causes of pneumonia, but mostly, it is caused by either a bacterial or a viral infection; whereas in many cases they are recognized as being streptococcus pneumoniae specific, influenza, Legionella and even Chlamydia are potential causes. Especially smokers are vulnerable to have compromised lung ability, which is then worsened by constricting pneumonia.

One of the best ways to get rid of pneumonia whenever you observe pneumonia symptoms is not to get it in the first place. There is now a Streptococcus pneumonia or pneumococcus vaccine that is recommended for majority of senior citizens in good general health.
As long as we can remember, diseases like influenza, bacterial and viral infections have been around for years. Bronchial pneumonia is a severe illness and is required to be treated as quickly as possible by a qualified physician.
