Novelist releases family chronicle of five generations of Irish-American women.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) March 16, 2011 --
Gilbert, AZ author, Gail Dennehy, loves puzzles. And none is more intricate than the relationships within a family. Ms. Dennehy has spent the last ten years picking open the Gordian Knot of her family and their traits and history. The result is “Flow Blue.”
Part history, part novel, “Flow Blue” traces five generations of Irish women from post-famine Westmeath to twenty-first century Boston. Along the road, Ms. Dennehy explores the strengths and disappointments of the women. She discovers common threads of depression, alcoholism, and codependency. These tendencies cause ever increasing damage as the generations pass. Ms. Dennehy discovers the why of her differences and the way to stop the damage from touching the sixth and seventh generations.
“Flow Blue” is an intimate look into the history of five strong female survivors. It is available now online, in print and/or Epub format, at www.Lulu.com, on iBooksmith, and on Amazon.com.
