(Free-Press-Release.com) July 18, 2010 -- Phoenix, Arizona – July 16, 2010— Arizona Right to Life Political Action Committee (AZRTL PAC) announced it would endorse Joe “Jose” Penalosa in the Republican Primary for Congressional District 4.

Arizona's oldest, largest, and strongest political pro-life organization, the AZRTL PAC bases its endorsements, recommendations, and acknowledgments for the 2010 Primary Election on the candidate's answers to the AZRTL PAC questionnaire, their history of pro-life involvement, any history of voting on abortion related legislation, and their chances of defeating pro-abortion candidates in the general election.

In a statement released about Penalosa, the AZRTL PAC says “while he has never held public office, he has been an attorney working in Central Phoenix for almost twenty years. He has the credentials and the passion to challenge Ed Pastor, the current pro-abortion Democrat Congressman. Pastor used to vote pro-life when a member of the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors. However, once he became a Congressman, he towed the pro-abortion party line, and since then has not voted for the most reasonable pro-life legislation. “

A veteran attorney and active community businessman, Penalosa supports a vibrant economic community, a secure border complemented by a comprehensive immigration reform program, lower taxes, an educational system that provides a 100% high school graduation rate with opportunities for higher education, a highly skilled and educated work force that will attract business to our state, a well funded public safety system, and a strong military.

Since 1991, Penalosa has worked and maintained his private law practice in Phoenix, serving the community in District 4 and abroad. The son of a U.S. Marine veteran, Penalosa graduated from UCLA, with a degree in Political Science, and in 1989 from the ASU College of Law.
