Just by passing by the US1 I discovered this unique art center where adults work weekly creating amazing art pieces. I was with my friend Susan and we decided to stop by a big sign that said ART on South Dixie Hwy and 141 St.

Not only for pure curiosity or because we love art, we were also looking for a place were we could get together with other new artists. My friend and I were looking for an art place that could help us promote, sell, and exhibit our amateur art pieces.

We were greatly surprised, when out of a regular street mall on a second floor there was this exclusive art studio. We felt like when walking in New York, and you feel the contrast of the dirty street at the luxurious amazing spaces inside the buildings. This space super peaceful and full of artworks is called Art Atelier.

By the time we went there the studio was holding an adult painting class. Around eight happy adult students were learning new art techniques in resin. Everyone was so welcoming, funny and flexible that my friend and I decided to stay and watch.

The unique group of students, and the sweet instructor offered us to have a coffee from the little French bistro. Well, there are no words to express what we felt: exquisite place, amazing artworks, and friendly people in a well-equipped art studio. It couldn’t be better.

We got the information of prices, hours and also found out that all the students get a free art exhibition in the Art Gallery Space owned by the same center. I just couldn’t stop telling everyone about this unique gem in the center of Palmetto Bay… just visit them, because it is a unique art center available to all the Miami community.

From adult painting classes, to glass mosaics, kids classes, art camps, art exhibitions and more. Only professional artists get to teach their techniques in this art center.
