Art coloring winners received freebies

(Free-Press-Release.com) October 24, 2010 -- Vung Tau, Vietnam- Hotram Beach Resort & Spa showered freebies to the winners of the Green Environment Campaign art coloring contest of the resort.

Twelve years old Le Ng Phoung Tran - from Le Quy Don Private School and Dang Bao Chau – 8 years old – Le Van Tam primary School bested the contestants. The two who won in the 9-12 years old category were awarded with the grand prize of a 2-night stay with breakfast voucher at the Resort.

The second spot was grabbed by 9-year old Nguyen Hoang Thien Phuc, Quoc Te A Chau and 5 year old -Phan Khanh Linh from An Loc International School. All second placers receive one (1) night stay voucher in the resort and. The third place was won by Nguyen Anh Thai Binh – 12 years old from Co Loa Primary School and Nguyen le Minh Thanh – 8 years old of Do Luong Primary School. Both received $100 worth consumable voucher.

The winners were selected from over 200 entries submitted by kids who stayed at the resort with their parents during summer holidays season. The awards were also supported by Pepsi Cola and Aqua fina mineral water giving away their products for the consolation prizes.

Hotram also offered freebies to the school of the grand prize winners – a night free-stay with breakfast voucher at the resort who will availed by any faculty members of the school.

Allan Tuppil the Resort General Manager said: "Through the Hotram Resort Children's Art and Coloring Contest, we have been successful in drawing the attention of our guest, kids, society and Tourism business in Vung Tau and maybe in the whole country towards the many concerns that intimidate the environment. I am sure their creative energies will inspire and lead us towards taking better care of our precious resources."

'We had a very enthusiastic response from the students and schools in Saigon and saw a lot of talents, great ideas and imagination. We got back a staggering over 200 entries which really speaks volumes of the responsibility shown by the Children and their teachers and parents towards the importance of green environment. It was extremely difficult to pick an outright winner as they were all winners. We are grateful to all our guests and students, schools for their enthusiastic participation that helped us to take the message to a much larger community.'

Tuppil said Hotram Resort and Spa’s “Green Environment Art and Coloring contest is launched this first year but due to its success, it was decided to be annual event.
