(Free-Press-Release.com) September 23, 2009 -- Danielle Blansett has been working in acrylic on canvas since 2007. She lives in Gainesville with her Chihuahua dog Widget Moo. Her work is a visual interpretation of intangible emotions universally experienced. She hopes her work will inspire others to follow their dreams.

Every month Friends of Wild Iris celebrates the work of a local artist. Stop by and enjoy the art and atmosphere. Drinks available through Wild Words Cafe.

Friends of Wild Iris is a non-profit organization created to support the community space traditionally represented by Wild Iris Books. We have found that the mission of a “safe space” for our community often differs from the motive of a for-profit organization. We want to continue to provide a community center for the sharing of ideas and exploration of how we can better impact our society.

As Friends of Wild Iris is still being developed, most of what you find in this site is subject to change.
