Contemporary art largely appears in works as social commentary when dealing with political, environmental, religious, and social issues and commonly makes a statement about current society.

Contemporary artists working on the genre of art and politics often make use of the visual vocabulary of this rich and varied tradition. They are the visual markers of the character and motivations of political issues, full of references and layers of meaning.

We are at the forefront of a new era of cultural transformation, one in which we have to take bold
and unequivocal action to create and implement cross-cultural and interdisciplinary solutions to diminish the threats posed by our Earth’s changing climate, political, and economical changes all around the world, as well as new and different artistic expression.

This exhibition explores political and environmental issues; new media in the art scene that empowers people to become active agents of sustainable development; promoting and understanding the change and attitudes in the communities which will ensure countries and people to enjoy a safer and more prosperous future.

The exhibition explores such questions as:
What is climate change?
What is a revolution for freedom?
What are the principles of an image in movement?
What do the symbols in patterns mean ?
What are the political implications in these matters?
How does sustainable development create a pathway to peace?
Why should we care?
The artists and artworks provide insight and answers to these questions.

The five artists in Art, Politics and Environment are diverse in both style and substance, presenting a compilation of Video Art, Installation, Calligraphy and Photography.
