FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) October 26, 2009 -- Most websites don't get the traffic the need or deserve, many webmasters give up in frustration, their brains on the verge of exploding trying to figure out all the rules and regulations set out by the big search engines. Simple back linking is now frowned upon by most of the major search engines yet in order to achieve rank on their search you are required to have lots of links to your site, as links to your site are weighted more heavily in importance by the search engine... so what's a guy or gal to do?

If you submit to free directories they usually require a reciprocal link which means it's is no better than a "Link Exchange Program" so the SEs don't like it if you buy links you may find your site is penalized for it, there are even unscrupulous directory owners who will add a "nofollow" tag in your link making it useless for achieving rank.

Well before you throw up your arms and curse the Gods of the Web... before you tear down that lovingly constructed website or blog... before you deprive the world of you brilliant insight or deprive yourself of a potentially substantial income, take some time to consider "Article Marketing".

Article Marketing has become the most attractive method on the internet for building "Search Engine Friendly" links to your site. why is that? you ask, the answer is simple and can be summed up in three words "Free, Easy and Effective" or F.E.E, quite ironic since it's free. So let's look at this marketing phenomenon, first of all let us dispel the notion that the search engines are out to "get you", in fact what they are attempting to do is improve the quality of their search results by making them more relevant to the query, one way to do this is to analyze the quality of the links into a site, in other words are they from a site with content which has relevance to the content of site to which they link.

An example of non effective back linking would be, if your site or blog is, let's say extolling the virtues of hiking in the back trails of the north woods, then a link buried in the "link exchange page" of a site which has the main purpose of selling vacuum cleaners will not hold much sway with the search engines. O.K. so your next question is "how do I get sites with relevant content to mine to link to my site"? that is also an easy answer, "Give them content", "WHAT?" you say "Give content away", yes, it's that easy, if you create quality content in the form of an article, other sites will want to "Re-publish" or "Syndicate" it which means you not only get quality inbound link from the "Article Directory" but also from any site which chooses to use your content.

"So how do I get started"? wow you ask the easiest questions to answer, let's do this step by step...

Step One: Create quality content, many people produce articles which are little more than a bunch of repeated keywords this give little or no incentive for other webmasters to publish your work, so you miss out on huge traffic potential, better to write articles which offer the reader a source of information or even entertainment, they might even email the article to a friend (most Article Directories offer this feature) thereby increasing your exposure even more. If you feel you don't have the writing skills to create quality articles, you can always pay a "Ghost Writer" to do this for you, a simple search for "article writers" or "writing services" will yield a multitude of authors to choose from, many of whom are very reasonably priced. You don't have to be a Shakespeare or Hemingway to write your own articles but always remember you should write for the reader not the search engines and make sure you spell-check it.

Step Two: Submit your articles to Article Directories such as FreeArticlesInc.com and many others, they are usually free and often provide a multitude of services such as "Tweet this article" buttons and "Email this Article" etc. these feature help promote your article to publishers on the hunt for good content. You could opt to use an "Article Submission Service" which will submit your article to multiple directories, they will charge a fee for this service or you could purchase software to do it yourself, but I would suggest that you get your feet wet by submitting the first few individually by yourself.

Step Three: Repeat steps one and two as often as you can, the more quality articles you circulate the better, but be unique and original with each offering, repeating the same words and sentences in a different order will show up as a lack of originality and directories as well as publishers will soon tire of your work.
