(Free-Press-Release.com) January 17, 2012 --
There are quite a few companies that are able and willing to supply realistic looking artificial flower bouquet which can be very easily mistaken for the real thing. These bouquets may be found in several materials including, but not limited to velvet, silk, foam, paper, and even latex.
It cannot be denied that an artificial flower bouquet oft-times appears to be realistic and many people cannot tell the difference between artificial and real flowers. Those companies responsible for designing these bouquets are very meticulous in selecting the perfect materials and playing around with the dyes to make sure that the resulting flower would be as believable as possible. For instance, in the case of callas, they will take care to use latex or foam to get flowers that are as realistic as possible. They will avoid using silk which tends to droop and in which the colors do not show realistically at all. Despite all this care and detailing, one may still find variations in the available quality and you need to make sure that when you buy an artificial flower bouquet, you get what you paid for. It may cost less than a real flower bouquet, but you still don’t want to get ripped off.
There is a kind that is known as “soft touch” and it is recommended that you for this particular variety if a choice is available. An artificial flower of the soft touch variety is available in many more colors than other varieties out in the market and they tend to look the most realistic, and even feel almost like real flowers to the touch. The petals are thin, the texture is just about perfect and the quality of color reproduction cannot be matched both in the flowers and in the stems. If you want to make your flower look even more realistic you can even submerge them in water without any visible disasters.
Another variety of artificial flower goes by the name of “natural touch” which scores higher on the texture front than soft touch, and even appears to be much more realistic. In contrast, the range of colors is not as wide as soft touch and this is why natural touch flowers did not catch on too well. It may be possible to dye an artificial flower of the natural touch variety, but the material used in these flowers is very prone to bleeding, and as such this is not recommended at all.
