Artist creates Amy Winehouse image from handwritten lyrics

(Free-Press-Release.com) August 23, 2011 -- Artist Annemarie Wright, 32, has created a handwritten image of Amy Winehouse lyrics from her albums Frank and Back to Black. The hauntingly beautiful image, entitled ‘Love is a losing game’, is a tribute to the troubled singer.

Wright, who is best known for her controversial image of Tony Blair created from the handwritten names of fallen soldiers from Iraq and Afghanistan, said of the late singer:

“Amy Winehouse had her difficulties, she was human. She was an incredibly talented women, her music has made the world a better place”.

The giclee prints are size 52 x 42.5 cm and are printed on Somerset Velvet Enhanced.

Annemarie graduated from the University of Wolverhampton in 2002, with a First Class Honours Degree in Fine Art and Printmaking.

Since graduating, her work has exhibited worldwide.
