Artist Malenda Trick has been announced as the Featured Artist of the charitable Wine Auction l'Eté du Vin (Summer Wine) in June 2010.

The Vintner’s Tasting:
Thursday evening, June 17, 2010 – 6:00p.m. Dress is business attire. This is a seated, formal style tasting of all the wines presented by our Guests of Honor.

The Patron’s Private Collection:

Friday evening June 18, 2010 7:00 p.m. Dress is Business attire. An elegant gathering and supper to honor our Patrons and Events Sponsors, approximately 120 people. This fabulous evening will feature heavy hor d’oeuvres, paired with fine, mature wines. The evening begins with a Champagne reception followed by an intimate gathering providing our Patrons and Sponsors an opportunity to mix and mingle with our Guests of Honor.

The l’Eté du Vin Auction:
Saturday evening, June 19, 2010, 5:30 p.m. Dress is Festive Cocktail attire 500-600 guests. The evening begins at 5:30 p.m. with an elaborate two-hour food and wine sampling. This is simultaneous with the Silent Auction. At 7:30 p.m. guests are seated and the Live Auction begins. Cheese and dessert courses are served during the Live Auction.

Malenda Trick, a 2006 License Magazine Top Ten Licensor , has painted professionally for over 40 years. Her portrait commissions include Fred Thompsom, Marsha Blackburn and George W. Bush. Malenda specializes in 19th century impressionism having learned to paint in the style of the Old Masters when the Tennessee State Museum commissioned her to reproduce the works of the great impressionists of the 19th century. Her aggressive style employs bold, flowing lines, vibrant colors and stimulating textures that capture the essence of contemporary life. Her style is very distinctive and has often been labeled "Romantic Impressionism." A natural evolution of her interest in the great impressionists such as Monet, Renoir and Degas, her own style incorporates a rich palate of colors and tones that provide real depth to her work.
