Conservation photography merges nature photography with social documentary photography to expose environmental concerns in a proactive, issue-oriented approach. It is a storytelling platform that allows photographers to put their images to work while collaborating with environmental stakeholders to impact public opinion.

Across the globe, sea turtles face a number of human-induced threats — including fisheries bycatch, coastal development, direct harvesting, pollution and climate change. Osborne, along with the Conservation International’s State of the World’s Sea Turtles (SWOT) team and a host of international partners, documents sea turtles in specific locations around the world to address the threats facing them.
