Asheville Web Designers to Give Away FREE Facebook Page Design

Entering is simple, and of course - free. Users simply visit Independent Studios' Facebook Page at http://www.facebook.com/indygraphics?sk=app_204169126292521 and click on the "Contest" tab, and upload their ugly Facebook page. After a month of voting, the winner will be picked according to who has the most votes.

"There are really a lot of ugly Facebook pages out there - and we thought it would be kind of fun to see some really bad ones and then turn around and give the ugliest of the ugly a facelift." said Gaffney. "Besides, if you can't laugh at your own shortcomings, you really don't need to have a facelift for your Facebook page - but, if you know you've got it bad, we'd love to see it, poke some fun at it, and have a little bit of a good time with it."

Open since 1999, Asheville's Independent Studios is not only a web design firm, a design house and an advertising agency, it's a landmark.

"Yeah - we've been around for a while, and Asheville runs through our veins. We love this city, and we love serving the businesses here. But, at the same time - there are some really flipping ugly pages out there in the world - and we'd love to get our hands on a few. It'll be fun!" laughs Gaffney.

The contest ends September 1st, but Gaffney has a few other tricks up his design sleeve.

"We're going to be giving away free Facebook page designs every other week starting in October. We believe everyone deserves good design - and we're happy to give away some warm fuzzies and free stuff to help the world look a little nicer."
