Frank Whelan, President of ASI Career Institute awarded Stephanie Gurak of Sicklerville, N.J. a full $12,000 scholarship with Molar, the Institute's Dental Program mascot.

http://www.ASI.edu Stephanie Gurak of Sicklerville, N.J. was awarded a full $12,000 to the School of Allied Health Professions at ASI Career Institute in Turnersville N.J., by Frank Whelan, President on Wednesday, August 10th. This was part of the Institute's summer scholarship program where $36,000 in full scholarships are being awarded as part of the corporate partnership with the Camden Riversharks. Ms. Gurak will be attending a program in ASI's School of Allied Health Professions. ASI will be awarding one more $12,000 scholarship on Wednesday, August 31st at Campbell's Field, where the Camden Riversharks play. Anyone may enter, just go to www.ASI.edu and click on the Riversharks logo on the home page and complete the entry form.
ASI Career Institute, a private vocational school with two campuses in southern New Jersey; one in Turnersville and the second in Burlington, has partnered with the Camden Riversharks Baseball Club in Camden, New Jersey, to donate three fully-funded scholarships to try to help the persistent unemployment rate and get people back to work in high demand jobs. ASI and the Riversharks gave away the first of three scholarships on Saturday, July 9, 2011. The first scholarship winner is Tom Swiderski of Sewell, New Jersey. Tom as awarded a $12,000 scholarship to the School of Allied Health Professions. Tom is interested in pursuing a career in the medical field. ASI Career Institute is committed to helping people who want to change careers or excel in their existing career. The school feels like they change people’s lives everyday, by helping put people back to work. With the governmental programs lacking in funding or motivation, ASI has stepped up to make sure more people interested in training can get some. Frank Whelan, President, states “Private sector schools and colleges must pick up for disheartened people interested in education, where the government has let them down. This is one way we can give back to the community. We’re putting people back to work, one student at a time.”
