Associate and Bachelor Degree in Graphic Arts Added to Stevens-Henager's Online Degree Programs

The Associate degree in Graphic Arts is targeted towards beginners as well as experienced designers. Training you in the latest technologies and methods, graduates will have opportunities as Web Page Developer/Designers, Graphic Designers, Web Page Programmers, or Multimedia Designers. The course curriculum for the AS degree includes Web Page Design, Graphic Design, Flash ®, Typography, Javascript®, Web Animation, Photoshop®, Illustrator®, Pre-press Operations, DreamWeaver, FrontPage - Digital Imaging Digital Video, Design for Non-Designers, Internet Management, Marketing, Computer Fundamentals, Databases, and Desktop Publishing.

The Bachelor of Science Degree in Graphic Arts, in turn prepares students to plan, analyze, and create visual solutions to all sorts of communication challenges. The course combines the study of theory and a mastery of in-studio visual communication methods that will prepare graduates to effectively convey their vision in print, electronic, and film media using a variety of methods such as color, type, illustration, photography, animation, and various print and layout techniques. After graduating with a BS Graphic Arts degree, your career choices include employment in advertising agencies, design studios, publishing houses, or corporate communication departments as a graphic designer, a production artist for a design staff, or as a junior art director.

To be eligible for these degree courses, all students need to go through an online interview. They must complete the enrollment agreement and go through financial aid to declare how they are financing their education. The college also offers assistance on financial aid, free of cost. All students are required to attend an orientation program prior to starting classes (which begin at the start of every month).
