Astoria Music & Arts Fundraiser: Back-Yard Tiki Dinner and Music

Queens, New York, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) July 20, 2011 -- As a way to prepare and to raise much needed funding for the ‘Astoria Music Now!’ music festival, the Astoria Music and Arts organization is hosting a ‘tiki’ Polynesian-style adventure here in Astorias very own backyard.

Starter:
Grilled zucchini, tomato and parmesan crostini with a side of auaha style mac and cheese with a hint uf surf.

Entrée:
(Tiki kapakapa): Panko-crusted catfish fillet w/ tobasco mayonnaise, collard greens, red pepper, bacon, red onion

Dessert:
A delicious slightly chilled tarte au citron (lemon tart)

At our bar we will whip up ice cold batches of fire island style bacardi 151 Rocketfuel (in honor of our valiant Rockethub campaign) and fresh Ginger beer Dark & Stormy.

Our entertainment for the evening:
Music by Astoria’s own Stately Ghosts and Josh Thundah.
Comedy from (sorta secret) Peter Moses , Ewok mud wrestling, prizes and much, much, more!
