In her debut book, Fierce and Fabulous - Whispers of Wisdom in Times of Change, Angela Mbodj offers a revealing glance behind the veneer facades of African - American Women and exposes their pain, passion, and power. Although empathetic to the challenges and issues faced by her fellow women of color; and indeed most women, Mbodj nonetheless admonishes and assures that complacency is not an acceptable stance; and that fear, age, and multiple responsibilities are equally unacceptable reasons to live a less than fabulous life.

It is to that end, Angela Mbodj cleverly created her technology, an introspective question and answer exercise board; The Seven Lanes to Fabulousness. The author invites her peers, protégés, comrades and colleagues to join her on a “Road Trip” to Fabulousness – a place of self- actualization; replete with peace, contentment, generosity and spirituality. The Fabulousness board was created to motivate readers towards achieving a mental, emotional and spiritual breakthrough, and successfully navigate across the seven lanes to realize their dreams and meet their divine destiny.
