Attorney David J. Steerman recently spoke at the Pennsylvania Bar Institute's (PBI) program titled "Philadelphia County Domestic Relations Practice."

Steerman recently spoke at the Pennsylvania Bar Institute's (PBI) program titled "Philadelphia County Domestic Relations Practice." Steerman, a partner in the Litigation department of Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel LLP and a member of the Family Law Practice Group, discussed custody procedure in Philadelphia County. The program also included two judges and the Chief of the Philadelphia Custody Master's Unit.

Steerman is a leader of the Family Law section of the Philadelphia Bar Association and is a fellow of The American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. He is named to Ten Leaders of Matrimonial and Divorce Law of Greater Philadelphia.

Steerman has been a featured speaker and author on family law topics for several organizations. He has penned family law articles for various periodicals including Philadelphia Lawyer Magazine and Pennsylvania Family Lawyer. His cases have been featured in the Wall Street Journal and have appeared in Philadelphia's The Legal Intelligencer.
