Austin Chiropractic Health Center To Join Red Cross of Central Texas For Health/Wellness Event

Central Texas – The American Red Cross of Central Texas has organized a pair of Back to School Health Fairs to reach out to families in both North and South Central Austin. Austin Chiropractic Health Center will join other local health organizations to promote health and wellness at Barton Creek Mall on Saturday August 22nd from 12 noon – 4pm. An additional Red Cross fair is scheduled for August 21st, 12 noon - 4:00 at Lakeline Mall.

High tech spinal screenings, balloons for the kids, and Biofreeze packets for adult participants are just part of the offerings from Austin Chiropractic Health Center at the Wellness event. Other vendors and services will include, Endeavor Rehab Center, Neighborhood Sports: kids’ sports and activities, Schlotzsky’s, Austin Adventure Boot Camp: live fitness demos, Sun Dragon Martial Arts, Is Your Child Safe?: free kids’ kits, Austin Aztex, Austin Affiliate of Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure: breast health information, on-site registration for November 2009 Race for the Cure and others.
Dr. Harry Schultze says, “We have an ongoing relationship with the American Red Cross of Central Texas and are thrilled to support them in bringing health and wellness back into the forefront of parent’s minds as children get ready to go back to school. We are excited to provide free spinal services to the community and get the word out about the benefits of chiropractic.”
