Sibylle-Maria PFAFFENBICHLER had 2 jazz dance paintings accepted into the Exhibition "Small Oils" which is opening for the 148th time at the historic Philadelphia Sketch Club, South Camac St., Philadelphia, on Sunday, April 10, 2-4 pm. One of them was awarded the third prize. The jurors were Julien Robson, Curator of Contemporary Art/Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts; Alexandra Tyng, a realist painter represented by the Fischbach Gallery, NY; and James J. Himsworth III, illustrator and fine artist.This is the oldest continuously running yearly art exhibition in America. The Philadelphia Sketch Club was founded in 1860 by Thomas Eakins and other contemporary artists.
