PFAFFENBICHLER is showing a small black & white painted image of JOSEPHINE BAKER on classical notes as part of the juried Exhibition "Something French", part of the Philadelphia International Festival of the Arts in City Hall, Gallery Room 116 and showcases on the Mayors floor, on April 7, 5-7. Entry at NE corner. The country of celebration is FRANCE. City Hall and many other Philadelphia buildings are built in the French Empire style. PFAFFENBICHLER focuses on the roaring 1920's when Paris was in the spell of AMERICAN JAZZ and the Ball de Negre.
