According to David Naigle, marketing director behind Select-Buys, figurines of this quality are hard to find. He stated, “Most are missing Ringo’s drum sticks and the gold ‘Car Mascot’ seals on the bottom of each figurine. David also mentioned, “While these figurines are authentic, people should be aware of the many imitations manufactured in China, and elsewhere. These originals were made in Japan for Car Mascots, Inc. Los Angeles 28, California in 1964 and include the Car Mascot 1964 copyright on the figurine base of John Lennon.

All four figurines depicting the Beatles are made of plaster and are painted. They stand 8" inches tall and 2 ¾" inches wide. The figurines are fitted with a spring in the head that allows the heads to "bob" up and down and from side to side. A facsimile of each Beatles' autograph is on the bottom of the figurine.
