http://www.silversistersmysteries.com Sheila Lowe is a court-qualified handwriting expert with more than forty years experience in the field of handwriting analysis. The author of Handwriting of the Famous & Infamous, The Complete Idiot's Guide to Handwriting Analysis, and the Forensic Handwriting Mysteries series, her analyses of celebrity handwritings have appeared in Time, Teen People, and Mademoiselle, among many others. Sheila recently appeared on Dateline NBC. She’s also written for numerous Bar Association magazines (that’s legal, not drinking). Her clientele includes corporate clients, mental health professionals, attorneys, private investigators and staffing agencies, and just plain folks. She’s currently planning her next mystery novel and working on a non-fiction book entitled Relationship Reruns, Why Do I Keep Dating Losers?
Laura Levine is a former sitcom writer who wrote for The Bob Newhart Show, Laverne & Shirley, The Love Boat, Three’s Company, Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman). As an advertising copywriter, she created a couple of familiar products: Count Chocula and Frankenberry cereals for General Mills. Her work has appeared in The Washington Post and the Los Angeles Times. A New York Times best-selling author, Laura’s Jaine Austen mysteries have been published internationally. When not writing mysteries, she contributes comedy material to Garrison Keillor’s “A Prairie Home Companion.” Laura lives in Los Angeles with her husband.
Patricia Wynn is the author of 10 romance novels from Harlequin, Fawcett, and Dorchester, which have earned her critical acclaim and a nomination for the RITA Award from Romance Writers of America. She was also a two-time finalist for an Award of Excellence from Colorado Romance Writers. The first novel in her Blue Satan Mystery Series, The Birth of Blue Satan, won an Honorable Mention from Writers Digest, a Silver Medal from PMA, and was a finalist for a Herodotus Award for Best First Historical Mystery. The second title in this series, The Spider's Touch, won the Benjamin Franklin Award for Best Genre Novel in 2003. The third, The Motive from the Deed, received a starred review from Library Journal.
Morgan St. James co-authors the comical Silver Sisters Mysteries with her sister, Phyllice Bradner. "A Corpse in the Soup," the first in the series, was named Best Mystery Audio Book by USA Book News; the second, "Seven Deadly Samovars," just placed in the Preditors and Editors Poll. The sisters are currently working on "Vanishing Act in Vegas." St. James, is Vice President of Sisters in Crime/Southern Nevada. In addition to two new romantic suspense books, "Devil's Dance" and "The Devil's Due" scheduled for release in early 2010 under the pen name Arliss Adams,she writes many published short stories, and columns for www.perpetualprose.com and www.examiner.com. A frequent speaker, St. James will present writer's workshops at this year's Las Vegas Writers' Conference and the Public Safety Writers' Conference.
A booksigning by all of the authors will follow the presentation. This event is open to the public.
