Authors for New Book for Single Moms Speak Out on Recent Report About Baby Boom for Unwed Mothers

A Handbook For Single Moms speaks out about a recent report that says 72% of African-American babies are born to unwed mothers.

"This report should be a a wake up call for everyone because it affects us all. These children will grow up to make the same mistakes we made and it's not fair to them and most importantly it's not fair to us as mothers," said co-author, Max-Laine.

The book is based on the author's personal experiences as single moms. They focus on their relationships with their children's fathers, child support, and emotions. It is a ten chapter book that includes a workbook for single moms looking to letting it all go and who want to make their lives better.

"This is a movement to breaking the cycle. Too many of us are raising children without their fathers and if we don't teach our children that this is unacceptable otherwise the numbers will increase," added Melanie Bent who is co-author and co-founder of "Crazy" Baby Mamas.
