Shot mainly in Berkeley and Oakland California, the indi drama about a boxer with autism has been wining nearly every film festival it has placed in including Methodfest, Visionfest, The Feel Good Film Festival and The Big Island Film Festival. Recently the film screened at Sony Studios in Los Angeles to support Operation Autism for military families dealing with autism. The film, like its creator Worth, has gone largely unnoticed by distributors and studios in Hollywood even though its critical praise has been outstanding. But tonight, the City by the Bay once again paid it some notice and awarded two of its thespians with acting honors. Actor Tim Thomerson who has had a long outstanding career in Hollywood received both Best Supporting Actor in a Drama and Best Supporting Actor in a Feature Film. His portrayal as the autistic uncle of the hero (Worth) serves as a poignant reminder to the story's heroine Alexia (played by Margot Farley) of what Noah may one day become.

Also awarded tonight was the film's 87 year old actress Lois Stewart who plays Worth's grandmother in the film as well as in real life. This was her first acting role (outside of a few brief appearances in 11 year old Michael Worth's Super 8mm movies) and took home the festivals Best Senior Actor in a Feature Film.

Worth was also bestowed with Best Actor in a Drama and Best Actor in a Feature Film by night's end. He is currently wrapping production on a new indi comedy called "Bring Me the Head of Lance Henriksen".

The event was held in partnership with Shari Carlson's Acting Studio.
