Avant Capital Partners announces Addition of David Rockaway to Firm

Greenwich, Connecticut, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) February 17, 2012 -- Avant Capital Partners, a direct commercial real estate lender and capital advisory firm, is pleased to announce that David Rockaway has joined the company. Mr. Rockaway’s responsibilities will include originating new loans and managing the expansion of the bridge lending platform.

AVANT is excited about opening a Dallas office with this addition to the team. The company offers conventional finance programs, including construction loans, as well as a bridge lending program that is attractive to investors in Texas real estate. Collateral types include multifamily, office, hotel, and retail, as well as bulk condo and townhomes.

AVANT Capital Partners is a direct commercial real estate lender with offices in Greenwich, Dallas & Scottsdale. The company also maintains an origination presence in New York, Buffalo, Miami and Chicago. The principals and directors of our company have completed over $5 billion in debt and equity investments as principals, lenders, investors and intermediaries. Our team boasts a broad range of experience as owners, developers, managers and financiers of commercial real estate across the country.

Mr. Rockaway has twenty five years of real estate experience including 16 years of principal-side investment management experience working with two private lenders, a real estate private equity firm and a Dallas based thrift institution. Mr. Rockaway has overseen loan origination, loan servicing, and asset management.

Prior joining Avant Capital Partners as a Principal, Mr. Rockaway was the President of Fix Funding, a Dallas based private lending company. Mr. Rockaway was a Director at the Hampstead Group, a Dallas based private equity fund that invested in real estate based operating companies before joining Fix Funding. Prior to Hampstead, Mr. Rockaway spent 4 years at FGB Realty Advisors and was a Vice President at the time of his departure.

Mr. Rockaway has earned his Bachelor in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin in 1981 and earned a Master of Business Administration with honors from the University of Texas at Austin in 1990.
