AVEVA World User Meeting in China Targets Delegates from the Oil & Gas and Chemical Industries

Beijing, CHINA – 19 December 2011: AVEVA (LSE:AVV), a leader in engineering design and information management solutions for the plant, power and marine industries, today announced the successful conclusion of its AVEVA World User Meeting in China specifically for customers and partners from the oil & gas and chemical industries. Held December 1st and 2nd in ZhuHai, Guangdong Province of China, more than 60 delegates attended including decision-makers and managers from design institutes and engineering companies such as PetroChina, SINOPEC, CNOOC and SINOCHEM.

The event offered AVEVA’s Chinese users a great opportunity to meet and debate topics of common interest, share their practical experiences and discuss product operations with AVEVA executives and technical expects. Agenda topics included AVEVA’s evolving Business Strategy for China, future product development roadmaps, and AVEVA’s Integrated Project Execution (IPE) and Operations Integrity Management (OIM) strategies for EPCs and owner operators. More detailed product presentations were also provided on AVEVA’s Integrated Engineering & Design portfolio.

Charles Zhang, Vice President of AVEVA China made the keynote speech and announced the establishment of a new AVEVA Greater China and accompanying organization chart.
