As the US and World economies seems to be on a rocky road instead of a smooth one, former Gulf War Veteran Lieutenant Simmons thought that there must be a way to make some extra money as he continues to fight for his compensation from the Veterans Administration and his responsibility to be the primary Care Taker for his 84 year old mother. Simmons finds it quite ironic that the same company that his mother worked for when he was a youngster is now the company that he works for to try to sell this well known product and to supplement his income. Simmons thought that since his mother did it to supplement her income and inturn provided for him and his two brothers perhaps he should market and sell Avon as well and use the extra income to take care of his mother and continue to fight for Veterans issues, assist the poor, and others who are in need of assistance.
Simmons has written several books on the Gulf War and he believes that since he has been one of the first advocates for Gulf War Veterans that he has been targeted by the VA who continue to deny him his just compensation after he became sick during the war and infected his wife at the time on his return from the Gulf War with the contaminates. Simmons former wife nearly died on several ocassions and his son was born with health issues as well. Simmons has not sold many books that is worth talking about, but believes if he did sell many books that he would give portions of his royalties to non-profit organizations like he has done in the past. Neverthless, regardless of his current situation and his struggles before, during, and after the Gulf War Simmons invites Avon lovers, or those who are new to the company's name and products to go to his website and support his cause of entrepreneur in Avon, care taker of his mother, and advocate for veterans...
