Award-winning Rock Band Autumn Fire Readies to Release 2nd Album at Utica, NY Party

(Free-Press-Release.com) November 28, 2011 -- UTICA, New York: Only one year after the release of their first studio album, ENDLESS , award-winning Utica-based rock band Autumn Fire will release their second album entitled AMENDS at a 5 hour rock and roll party at Utica’s Electric Company on Varick Street , Saturday December 3rd.

Featuring vocals by Max Scialdone, guitar by Josh Crossman and Ryan Parr, bass by Yoshi Brondou and Nate Keida's drumming, the band has been together for a little more than two years with three of the members having known each other since high school jazz band.

Autumn Fire won the Monster Energy Drink Big Break Contest in Syracuse in 2010 and followed it up by winning the CNY Battle of the Bands in 2011 which gave them the honor of opening for rock legends Blue Oyster Cult in October.

The band truly came together with the addition of lead singer Max Scialdone thanks to a Myspace message. Drummer Nate Keida says the band had been writing music for a while but had no lyrics. They'd tried to audition several singers but wound up with more yelling than singing. Then Max asked for an audition and came prepared with lyrics to two Autumn Fire tunes. Between his lyrics, his voice and his personality working with that of the existing band members the band finally felt solid and moved forward booking gigs throughout Virginia Beach and the upstate New York region. And they threw down--and won--battles of the bands.

Now with an even better sense of the sound they want to be remembered for, Autumn Fire is excited to share their second album with fans.

At the December 3rd CD release party Autumn Fire will focus on songs from the new album--an album they've kept under tight wraps with only the band members and recording studio really knowing the CD's contents. The event kicks off at 9pm and beyond great music the bar will also be showing their support of AF by offering drink specials. Admission to the party at EC in Utica's Brewery District is $10 which gives party-goers a copy of AMENDS and a chance at winning some music-inspired gifts.
