(Free-Press-Release.com) January 18, 2012 --
The California College of Ayurveda is now accepting applications for its new full-time class starting in April, 2012. The Ayurvedic Health Educator (A.H.E.) certification allows the student to integrate their training in Ayurveda (the 5,000 year-old healing science of India) with an existing health care degree and/or receive the knowledge for personal growth and self-healing.
Have you ever wondered why a person becomes sick or what is the end cause of disease? Understanding this is profound and yet simple: once we understand the cause of disease we can finally begin heal. Ayurveda teaches us that all disease begins when we live out of harmony with our environment. When we take in inappropriate impressions from our environment through our senses, we choose to weaken the body and create an internal environment which supports disease, and which disrupts our internal energy. The Ayurveda studies program (Level I) teaches all the principles of living in harmony with the environment. The World Health Organization (WHO) recognizes Ayurveda as a complete natural health care system.
Application deadline for the program is March 1st, 2012. The California College of Ayurveda is the longest running, State-approved college offering professional training programs for the study of he Ayurvedic Medicine in the West. The school offers a variety of shorter length workshops and seminars, and trains students to become the healers of the future, Ayurvedic practitioners dedicated to understanding the whole person – physically, emotionally, spiritually. Its programs are also in Spanish (Ayurveda Chile)
