FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) November 4, 2010 -- (b)North Hollywood, CA (November 4, 2010)- University Link Magazine(ULM)(/b), a monthly glossy magazine written by college students and exclusively designed by college students, announced today that country singer Taylor Swift will be on the cover of its November issue. Taylor's appearance as cover girl coincides with with her highly anticipated release of her new album, (i)Speak Now(/i).

Taylor has had quite the year in the spotlight from the MTV Movie Awards fiasco with Kanye West, to some very public break-ups. She also has established herself as a solidified talent. Her album (i)Fearless(/i) broke numerous records and she was the youngest person to win the highly coveted Album of the Year award at the (i)52 Annual Grammy Awards.(/i)
"My songs are always autobiographical," say Swift. "The easiest stories for me to write are the ones I've lived, so I stick to writing about my own adventures and misadventures. It makes you pretty vulnerable to have everyone knowing your secrets, but Id rather have that than write general songs about general things."
As a college magazine University Link wanted to feature a positive role model for its readers. Taylor Swift is a hard-working young woman who embodies the goals and aspirations that the magazine tries to relay to its audience.

"We're so happy to have Taylor Swift on our November cover just as her new album has been released," said Rebecca Ford, managing editor of ULM. "She's proven once again that she's not afraid to talk about love in her music, and that's why so many people relate to her."
The November issue also features Harry Shum Jr. from Fox's (i)Glee(/i), and Kay Panabaker from the ABC series (i)No Ordinary Family(/i). The young stars talk about their rise to fame and their love of performing. Kay and Harry both attended college, which they felt was important as a back-up to their careers. The issue also has a new and improved sections such as "Brain Busters" and "Quiz the Co-ed," a sex and relationship column. A new art director is on-board, making the layout cleaner and easier on the eyes.

The magazine will have a print run of 25,000 copies which will go to students who subscribed on the www.ulmagazine.com website or through a sales representative on campus. New subscribers can take advantage of the magazine's reduced annual rate of $20 for 10 issues.
