(Free-Press-Release.com) April 22, 2010 -- A collection of paintings by New England artist Bobbi Eike Mullen will be exhibited at The Paul Gervais Gallery (@ Building Blocks Art Supplies) in Ridgefield, CT from May 16th thru June 12th.

Titled “Around the Corner”, Ms Mullen’s presentation will include new impressionist compositions, a few of which are scenes from “around the corner”. A lifelong painter, she is known for her trompe l’oil realism and has gradually returned to her first love of impressionism.

“The path of creativity turns many corners, and I am comfortable in varied approaches to my art”, quoted the artist.

Having an extensive art background, Bobbi Mullen is a favorite among collectors. She conducts workshops in Vermont, has won many awards, is an innovative instructor, a member of several art organizations including Connecticut Women Artists and has exhibited extensively. This summer she will instruct through the National Park Service at Weir Farm.

The Paul Gervais Gallery is located at 49 Ethan Allen Highway (intersection of Rt. 7 and Rt. 102). An artist’s reception will be held on Sunday May 23rd, 2:30pm to 5:00pm; the public is free to attend. The gallery hours are: Monday through Friday, 9:30am to 6:00pm; Saturday 9:30am to 5:00pm; Sunday, 12:00pm to 5:00pm.
