Baby Dies from Massive Head Trauma Due to Obstetrical Negligence. Wrongful Death Lawsuit Filed

Beverly Hills, California, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) November 9, 2011 -- Medical malpractice attorney, Dr. Bruce G. Fagel, files lawsuit on behalf of Seda Kaplanyan and Tigran Gadyan, after their infant, David Gadyan, died from negligence caused by his obstetrician, Kevin Galstyan, MD. The baby died after suffering irreversible and fatal head trauma, consisting of a massive compression fracture and extensive brain bleeding due to Dr. Galstyan’s misuse of a pressurized vacuum device used to deliver the infant.

David Gadyan suffered the injuries at Glendale Memorial Hospital on February 24, 2011, and was later taken to Childrens Hospital Los Angeles where he died February 25, 2011.

The Los Angeles County Coroner performed an autopsy and concluded that the baby died from massive traumatic bleeding in the brain from the use of a vacuum for the delivery, and because of the evidence of massive trauma to skull and brain, they found that the death was not natural and recommended further inquiry into the circumstances of the delivery by the obstetrician.

The lawsuit was filed October 27, 2011, at Los Angeles County Superior Court.
