Bad Water Not Just in War Zones
Bad Water Not Just in War Zones
Contaminated water is not just a problem at home in America. It is wildly prevalent in war torn countries.

(Free-Press-Release.com) November 16, 2009 --
Just because many Americans live in a city where the water supply is presumably relatively safe doesn’t mean that unseen and untasted contaminants are not lurking in the tap water, because they “are” there. This same problem (waterborne diseases) poses a major threat to other areas in the world that are struggling with wars and other internal political and religious strife. Mother Nature also plays a large part in having less than optimal water thanks to cyclones, floods, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and tsunamis.
Luckily, many Americans have the right idea about not wanting to drink contaminated tap water and have invested in water distillers for their home. Water distillation is the safest and most effective way to ensure the safety of water on tap. Quality, effective water distillers may be found online after doing research on the value and efficacy of water distillers.
Education and awareness go a long way toward preventing disease epidemics that may be spread by using unsafe/contaminated drinking water to swim in, wash in, or to clean fruits and vegetables. This is a relevant concern not just in the U.S., but in other countries in the global community.
Consider the frightening statistics relating to diarrheal disease. The World Health Organization indicates that there are close to 1.8 million deaths yearly as a direct result of diarrheal diseases. In areas hit by natural disasters, those recovering from a war or other conflicts, it’s inevitable that existing water infrastructures and sanitation capabilities are shot. It goes without saying that there would be no clean water in circumstances like that, which leads to the outbreak of waterborne diseases.
Oddly enough, not having proper water filtration capabilities isn’t just restricted to other countries. Americans have the same problems at home with failing municipal water plants that have long ago given up the ghost of being able to effectively remove contaminants from the water supply. Obviously sanitation is a major issue, and that combined with a lack of proper water filtration, promotes waterborne diseases.
Most diseases that arrive piggyback in contaminated water proceed directly to the intestines and digestive tract, resulting in symptoms that included fever, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. While mild cramping and diarrhea is manageable, severe cases may be life threatening. If they’re not promptly treated, those affected may lose up to a full liter of water every hour. The results, severe dehydration, may lead to death in as little as six hours.
With frightening scenarios like this, it only makes good common sense to protect the family by having a water distiller installed at home. Only water distillers are capable of providing the purest water to keep everyone safe from waterborne diseases and other contaminants.
