BallersCove Announces Its Inaugural Pro-Style Scouting Combine

Jenkintown, PA March 28th 2011 - BallersCove will host its first pro-style basketball combine on May 27th 2011 at Philadelphia University. The purpose of this combine is to give aspiring basketball players an opportunity to showcase their skills and talents before a variety of coaches, scouts, agents and representatives from various leagues overseas as well as U.S. minor leagues. Players will be offered the opportunity to have their individual workouts filmed & recorded to be purchased by the player to possibly be networked to other coaches, scouts or agents not in attendance at this combine.

The workouts will be facilitated by Howard Griffith, Assistant Coach of Frankford High School. Mr. Griffith has over 15 years of basketball coaching, training, & individual player development experience. Mr. Griffith will be assisted by Chuck Ellis, Isaiah Thomas, Antoine Brockington, Dan Brinkley, Guy Moore, Terquin Mott & Sean Colson. (See below for experience)

A catered lunch including refreshments will be served on both days of this intense 15 hour total workout that will allow players to increase their overall basketball ability and give them a chance to further their basketball career. The final day of the combine will feature guest speakers Terquin Mott, Sean Colson, Levan Alston, Rodney “HotRod” Odrick, Dallas Comegys & Mike Harris who will offer insight and advice on becoming a better, more professional and more efficient player on and off the court as they share their experiences playing in various leagues in the U.S. and abroad. On the final day, players will be allowed to bring up to three guests free of charge to observe their workouts.
