Bathurst to host Workshop – ‘Healing for Emotional Pain’.


Internationally recognized Author, Healer and Trainer, Lionel Watson, will be in Bathurst on Saturday November 19th to convene a workshop, “Healing for Emotional Pain.”

Everyone knows someone who is suffering from emotional pain, serious illness, the loss of a child, a parent, a sibling or a best friend. That people try and struggle along on their own without the tools to help themselves, was recognized by local man Lachlan Mitchell after his recovery from cancer 2 years ago.

“Often the way people try to cope doesn't work and is (instead) a path to destruction. Working with a group of friends, I thought there had to be a better way to help people get their life back together. We knew healing might be possible. We just weren’t sure how to go about it” Lachlan said at a recent planning meeting.

The group Lachlan has been working with all know the pain of illness and personal loss. They decided to find a way to heal their own pain. During their research they came into contact with Lionel Watson. He agreed to help.

“Lionel has been terrific. He dropped everything and came up to Bathurst for a whole week to help us make this first Workshop a success,” Lachlan told the planning group. “We were stunned and so grateful.”

The workshop will give people the opportunity to develop skills and use tools, all with the aim of healing their emotional pain. Lionel Watson will be sharing three key ideas developed for individual healing.
