He has acquiered such an experience by handling various managerial responsibilities. He has worked in several fields as his wide professional experience shows it. He started his career with l’Oreal Group in 1989. He then joined the Richemont Group in 1995 where he developed his skills in the fields of sales for example as the Area sales Manager for Asia - (IWC) -, of marketing - as International Marketing Associate Director (IWC) -, of communications – as International Marketing and Communication Managing Director (Julius Bär Bank).
Right now he is Chief Executive Officer of Baume and Mercier. He was appointed in September 2009 and although Alain Zimmerman is a man of great experience, he sees this job as a real challenge. This is for him the best stimulant man can have to improve over and over. Even if he is a successful man, we can be sure that Alain Zimmermann will remain faithful to his personal principles and will go on looking forward the future which is a very good pont for Richemont Group.
