Bay Area "Ink Addicts" Featured in National Magazine

San Francisco, California, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) March 1, 2011 -- The new Urban Ink Magazine hit the shelves across the nation this week, and the Ink Addicts Tattoo Company, an urban-themed tattoo shop located inside Hilltop Mall in Richmond, CA, was elated to learn that the shop, along with its artists and some celebrity clients, had been featured in a 5-page spread in the mag, which has a circulation of 200,000. The owners of the shop were pleased, "We're pretty excited to be the sort of company that can generate this kind of publicity both for Ink Addicts as well as Hilltop Mall in just the first year of the shop's operation."

Ink Addicts, along with lead artist and partner "Rhino", have quickly become the "go-to" in northern California for urban-styled tattoo work. Their clients include a long list of west coast hip-hop stars as well as MMA stand-outs such as Tyson Grififin of the UFC.

Urban Ink is the first tattoo publication that celebrates the body art culture among people of color. Each issue offers close to 150 pages of cutting-edge features on the biggest tattooed stars of the screen, recording and sports industries.The magazine has become one of the premiere publications targeted at the Urban audience, and their readership runs from the age range of 17 to 50 in both the male and female demographic.

Owner of Ink Addicts Trever Johnson says the company plans to continue to build its brand with an upcoming clothing line and possibly opening a second shop location. The shop also will continue to host in-shop happenings, such as the recent Tyson Griffin UFC autograph signing session, as well as sponsor outside events like concerts and other shows. Of course the shop will continue to do what it's know for as well, or as Rhino says "Not to be cocky but we've tattooed almost every rap-artist from this region, that's not a coincidence, the work speaks for itself.
