BeatCancer.org is inviting the local community and businesses to help support their First Annual BeatCancer.org 5K Run & Walk Fundraiser at the Philadelphia Zoo will be held on 9/25/11 (Rain Date)

(Free-Press-Release.com) September 8, 2011 -- Due to Hurricane Irene, the original BeatCancer.org 5K Run & Walk has been rescheduled to Sunday, September 25th 2011. BeatCancer.org, is seeking help from the community to support their 501 (c) 3 non-profit fundraiser this September. Their Mission is to provide research-based education on how to prevent, cope with, and beat cancer through diet, lifestyle and other immune-boosting approaches.

Join BeatCancer.org and their partners Target, and Dave & Busters and Barb’s Harley Davidson on Sunday September 25th at the Philadelphia Zoo for a morning of fun & fundraising. Warm up with: Philly Fit Magazine and Vertex Fitness Visit our attending Sponsors:, Phila-Massage, ReUse Your Shoes, and Philadelphia Style Magazine

Entertainment and special guests include: 94 WYSP’s Extreme Team , Ben Tyler, Cory Singer, a high school student from South Plainfield, NJ and the National Anthem performed by cancer survivor Rotanda A. Davis.

The first 1000 registrants will receive a $500.00 gift card to RedStar World Wear. The BeatCancer.org 5K Run & Walk Fundraiser also will feature: Music, Prizes for Top Fundraisers, Special Guests & More!
