With such a downturn in the economy and a high demand for stable careers, Western Beauty Institute has decided to extend their deadline on scholarships. From now through April 30, WBI is offering scholarships for Cosmetology ($2500), Barber ($2000), Esthetician ($1500) and Nail Technology ($800).

For many of those who have been laid off or whose hours have been cut back, these scholarships are literally a lifesaver. Shelly T., a single mother of three, lost her job last year when the company she worked for closed.

“I had no idea what I was going to do to support my family until a friend told me about WBI's scholarship programs” says Shelly. “The courses are fun, the instructors really care about your success, and they'll even help you find a great job.
