Beck Technology Releases Macro BIM Software DProfiler™ 2012 Rev. 1.0
Welcome visit Our WebSite:
http://www.beck-technology.com/ Unveiled at its annual DProfiler™ User’s Conference, held in Washington DC on November 1, the stand-alone software combines critical data with a quick and simple to use interface. Increasing pressure from building owners to lower risk and increase predictability is driving sales of DProfiler™. Andy O’Nan, Business Development Director for Beck Technology, attributes the shift to the economy and increasing sophistication of owners and project teams.
“DProfiler™ makes it possible to develop a 3D model, an accurate cost estimate, an energy use estimate, and a sequencing simulation in less than a day. We have one owner client who actually sequenced 3 contractor proposals in 24 hours with costs in order to evaluate who provided the most well thought out phasing plan.”
In addition to sequencing, DProfiler™ 2012 Rev. 1.0 adds notable features including:
• New customizable reports make it possible to report virtually any data in any format
• Enhanced Site3D grading and cut & fill is now faster and more accurate
• Enhanced energy analysis abilities such as shading from adjacent buildings
• Upgraded interior space planning with automated space costing and color coding
“DProfiler™ is a true breakthrough in planning and budgeting. Projects without the software are at a huge disadvantage,” said O’Nan.
Due to the number of new features in this version, Beck Technology elected to batch the upgrade notifications to their customers over a 3 week period. The approach helps the firm manage the increased support load without interrupting normal support service levels.
