Beepl receives ‘six figure’ Euro investment from Credo Ventures

(Free-Press-Release.com) July 21, 2011 -- Prague and London, July 21, 2011 – Expertise platform and semantic technology company Beepl announced today that it has raised a „six figure‟ Euro seed investment led by Credo Ventures, the Prague-based VC fund targeting early stage technology companies in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). The funding will be used for product development and to launch Beepl.com in the coming months. Ondrej Bartos, Partner at Credo Ventures, also joins Beepl´s Board of Directors.

Beepl is the “smarter way to question the world”, helping users seek answers, opinions and product recommendations from subject specialists and their social graph. It achieves this through a bespoke semantic engine and by employing natural language processing and machine learning to both understand the topics that questions relate to and users‟ interests and expertise.

Comprised of a founding team from Slovak, UK and the Czech Republic, Beepl was incorporated in April 2011 and is headquartered in London.
