Bellwether Community Credit Union Seeks Community Champion Nominees

(Free-Press-Release.com) February 14, 2012 -- MANCHESTER, NH – Bellwether Community Credit Union will again be honoring individuals who have made a positive impact on the lives of others through a premier community outreach program with the New Hampshire Fisher Cats and New Hampshire Fisher Cats Foundation. During the 2012 baseball season, the Bellwether Community Champion program will celebrate gratifying stories of everyday people doing extraordinary things throughout the Granite State.

The Bellwether Community Champion award will be presented to individuals who have made exceptional contributions to our community. Bellwether Community Credit Union, the New Hampshire Fisher Cats and their fans will salute the exemplary efforts of these citizens during an on field pre-game presentation during select home games in which the Community Champion will deliver the first pitch. Champions will also enjoy VIP treatment at their recognition game, including parking, game tickets, a stadium tour and more. The first Bellwether Community Champion will be recognized at Opening Day on April 12th.

Nominations for the Bellwether Community Champion program are being accepted through August 1st. There are a number of ways to nominate a Bellwether Community Champion. Nominators can download a form at bccu.org or nhfishercats.com. In addition, nomination forms are available at any Bellwether Community Credit Union branch as well as Northeast Delta Dental Stadium. Winners will be contacted throughout the season.

During the 2011 season, 22 Bellwether Community Champions were recognized at Fisher Cats games. Recipients from across the state took to the field and delivered the first pitch as they were cheered on for their valiant efforts.
