Berks Technology Solutions Owner Matt Heckman Victim Of A Hit & Run Accident Charges Filed Against Jennifer Guistwite

(Free-Press-Release.com) November 16, 2010 -- Charges have been filed against 27 year old Jennifer Guistwite of Leesport, PA for leaving the scene of an accident that left Berks Technology Solutions Owner Matt Heckman with a concussion.

According to public records that were also stated on Mr. Heckman's blog at mattheckman.net, on the Evening of October 3rd, Matt Heckman, along with his wife Marci were stopped at a red light at the intersection of Elizabeth Ave., and Kutztown Rd., when Guistwite impacted into the rear of Matt & Marci Heckman. Marci Heckman who was uninjured in the accident attempted to stop Guistwite from leaving the scene. Guistwite attempted to work a deal with Marci to avoid police involvement as she admitted to Marci that she was presently uninsured. Matt Heckman was able to dial 911 on his cell phone as he had reason to believe Guistwite would run. As soon as Guistwite saw Marci Heckman on the phone talking to the dispatcher, Guistwite fled the scene. Matt Heckman was able to get a view of Guistwite’s license plate and informed the dispatcher. Police were on the scene within a few minutes. Matt Heckman was taken to Reading Hospital for treatment and Guistwite was caught an hour later by Police. Guistwite admitted to Police that she fled the scene, because she was driving without insurance.

Jennifer Guistwite is also facing charges of False Swearing, False Reports To Law Enforcement, and Public Drunkenness. Guistwite’s Next Hearing is set for February 10th.
