Mister A’s Offers San Diego Restaurant Week’s Most Sought-After Dining Tables

Bertrand at Mister A’s, one of San Diego’s most sought-after dining destinations, will once again be participating in the much-anticipated San Diego Restaurant Week. From Sept. 18-23, the penthouse restaurant will be offering guests a unique opportunity to explore Chef Stéphane Voitzwinkler’s culinary creations at a special price.
Mister A’s three-course prix-fixe Restaurant Week dinner menu is available for $40 per person and will be served from Sunday, Sept.18 through Friday, Sept. 23. And, for the first year ever, Mister A’s will also be offering a prix-fixe Restaurant Week lunch menu for $20.
The three-course dinner menu begins with a choice of starter selections, including a Local Farm Heirloom Tomato Salad, a Multicolored Young Beets Salad, Chilled Avocado and Cucumber Soup and Sauteed Samanco Bay Sea Scallops. Main course menu options include Mediterranean Style Paella, Pan Seared “Loup de Mer” Filet, Braised Kurobuta Pork “Jaret,” a Duo of Brandt Farm Rib Eye and Short Rib and a Vegetarian Entrée.
And, for a sweet finish, guests can indulge in one of the delicious desserts created by Chef de Patisserie, Amy Simpson. Dessert options include Strawberry Shortcake with Coulis and Toasted Swiss Meringue; Decadent Carrot Cake with Toffee Sauce and Sweet Ice Cream; and Milk Chocolate Mousse Bars with Peanut Nougat and Caramel.
Mister A’s two-course Restaurant Week lunch menu offers guests the option to select either a first course or dessert choice to be paired with their entrée of choice. First course menu options include a Local Farm Garden Salad with Champagne Vinaigrette and Chilled Cucumber and Avocado Soup. Main course entrée options include a House Ground Kobe Steak Burger, Traditional Paella, Hudson Valley Duck Confit and a Poached Salmon Salad. Dessert options include Mister A’s signature Decadent Carrot Cake and Milk Chocolate Mousse.
Restaurant Week offers guests the opportunity to experience cuisine that defines the art of dining in San Diego. Held twice annually, this beloved culinary tradition features discounted prix-fixe menus from more than 180 of San Diego’s best eateries, including Bertrand at Mister A’s and its sister restaurant, Mille Fleurs in Rancho Santa Fe.
