Best Buddies Maryland Signature Event: Life Is Sweet

Baltimore, Maryland, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) September 22, 2011 -- BALTIMORE, MD (9/22) – Best Buddies Maryland will holds its Annual Life Is Sweet signature event and fundraiser on Wednesday, November 16th at the American Visionary Arts Museum (800 Key Highway, Baltimore. MD 21230). The event will begin at 7p.m. and go until 10:30p.m.

The event will feature incredible food and desserts provided by some of Baltimore’s Best restaurants (Ryleighs, Mr. Rains Funhouse, Mother’s, Havana Road, Stone Cold Creamery etc.) Top shelf liquor from Bacardi and Grey Goose as wells as wine, beer and other assorted beverages. Enjoy bidding on fabulous silent and live auction items and mingling with Baltimore’s up and coming professionals and philanthropists.

Proceeds from Life Is Sweet will benefit those whose lives are being transformed through Best Buddies Maryland’s programs that create opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Best Buddies Maryland impacts over 35,000 people with and without IDD.

“Life Is Sweet is our signature event that significantly funds our efforts to keep these much needed and only one of its kind programs running. With government grants being taken away, at no point in our history do we absolutely need the help of private support than now.” explains the organizations State Director, Vince Fiduccia. Life Is Sweet sponsorships range from $1500 to $15,000. Tickets are $75 each.
