Best Buy is NOT really a Best Buy at All

The Villages, Florida, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) October 21, 2011 -- I am the owner and CEO of The Acquisition Institute Inc., and have spent thousands of dollars $$$ at BEST BUY natiowide, but especially where I reside in "the Villages, Florida," thinking that Best Buy is good to deal with, BUT NOT ANY MORE. Today at 10:43am I took back for a return to our firm's credit card, an unused Logitec TV Camera which cost $150. The box was unopened. We just decided we did not want to use it. It had been purchased on 9/27/2011. It is now October 13th.

Upon going to the return desk at the BEST BUY in Lady Lake, Florida, the female return person said, "Sorry your purchase is over 30 days old, can't take it back," So I asked to have the manager come speak about it, and he did and simply parroted the same montra like a drone would.

I replied to him, "As a business owner that spends thousands of dollars at your firm, you'd be willing to risk losing all my firm's business in the future for failing to take back a perfectly good, unopened box for $150?" To which the low-level, manager with not so good business sense replied, "That's right."

I said, "not even an instore credit?"

To which he replied, "that's right."

To which I finally replied, "Well then, fuck you and buck Best Buy, because from this day forward I will never spend a dime in your stores ever again."

Now, I'd like to point out that although my use of the word "FUCK" was possibly a tad bit harsh, I do not think it was inappropriate as the manager also replied to me the same. Further, the term does exist in Websters Dictionary. The sad point I want to point out to tthe leadership of BEST BUY and to consumers that read this article, is that this is NOT an uncommon practice with BEST BUY, it is how they make their millions off the backs of hard working men and women nationwide.

Having been a former retail manager of a multimilion dollar retail chain once myself, I would NEVER turn away a good customer, let alone a business that spends money in my store, that pays my rent and my bills. For a firm like BEST BUY to do this is such a lame manner, really says something loud and clear about their business practices.

I personally will NEVER have my firm, my wife, nor my people spend any money in BEST BUY again, and if you think about it, think hard before you spend your money in their stores too.
