High-level speakers from 20 countries will share their knowledge and experience with over 300 attendees. A special session will be dedicated to the energy efficiency. The president of Euroheat & Power, Belgium, Birger Lauersen will speak about the district heating and cooling (DHC) as a potential to significant reduction the primary energy consumption. The delegates will learn more about the project Energy-Efficiency-Watch of EUFORES - European Forum for Renewable Energy Sources, which aims to facilitate the implementation of the Energy Services Directive. David Sweet, the executive director of the World Alliance for Decentralized Energy, will deliver a speech on the economic and environmental benefits of the decentralized energy.

Over 300 leading companies from Austria, Bulgaria, China, Denmark, Germany, Poland, the USA, etc. will participate at the EE & RE and the Solar Exhibitions. They will present cutting-edge solar, wind, bio- and hydro energy systems; technologies and new solutions for energy efficient construction, electric vehicles, building renovation and energy certification services, etc. The event will attract over 7000 professional visitors from South-East Europe: municipality and association representatives; investors and specialists in the sectors of renewables, power engineering, construction, ecology, finance, transport, etc.
